Communities Organizing to Promote Equity-Harvey County Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) seeks to address health disparities in high-risk and underserved communities.

We activate a network of public health and community-based organizations, community health workers, and partners throughout KS. Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) is a project of the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health, KU School of Medicine.

We believe access to period products is a health need, not a privilege. That's why we have invested in and purchased four period product dispensers for Newton USD373. They will be installed at NHS and Chisholm and Santa Fe Middle Schools.

All of the period products, tampons and pads, will be available for FREE to all students in need!

"Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Narcan, 4 milligram (mg) naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray for over-the-counter (OTC), nonprescription, use – the first naloxone product approved for use without a prescription."

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first naloxone nasal spray product available without a prescription.
