ACC Apothecary opened in September 2003. ACC Apothecary also offers supplements. ACC Apothecary, an Independent Health Mart Pharmacy, is now filling regular prescriptions, offers professional supplements, has a selection of non-prescription items and is a PCAB accredited non-sterile compounding pharmacy. The owner is Arthur Margolis, R.Ph. Arthur, a third-generation compounding pharmacist, is the 2005 recipient of the Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award given by the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, a past president of the Massachusetts Independent Pharmacists Association (MIPA), a former preceptor of the year for Northeastern University's pharmacy program, a member of Professional Compounding Centers of America "PCCA", and a member of Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, and a member of International Association of Compounding Pharmacists, IACP. Our team of compounding pharmacists also has the ability to customize and dispense medications that are no longer commercially manufactured. Not every pharmacy can compound, however America’s Compounding Center has a state of the art laboratory and equipment, as well as pharmacists and technicians with extensive training in compounding techniques.
