As part of ongoing awareness for (CON) laws and access to appropriate, high-quality healthcare, team members Scott Lofland, Tara Bland, & Tim Peterkin recently attended Hospice & Home Care Advocacy Day.

Together, they advocated for policies that protect and in need of expert, mission-driven care offered by nonprofit organizations like Carolina Caring.

Around this time, announced a 6-month nationwide moratorium on new hospice and home health Medicare enrollments in an effort to maintain integrity across the industry. This temporary pause in new enrollments is an appropriate safeguard to protect patients, families, and Medicare benefits.

As an approved nonprofit healthcare provider, Carolina Caring is not affected by this temporary pause and will continue to serve patients without interruption. We remain committed to doing things the right way, providing the same high-quality, that patients trust and communities continue to respect.
