Last week, Carolina Caring was honored to connect with business and community leaders at the Montcross Area Chamber of Commerce "Memberpalooza"!

Our Director of Community Engagement, Michelle Petty, along with other members of our team, shared insights about the expanded services and support that Carolina Caring provides in Gaston County. With more than 80 attendees and over 40 new Chamber members welcomed, the event fostered meaningful conversations and connections.

We are grateful for the opportunity to build strong community partnerships that help us better serve patients and families across and beyond.

Congratulations to Jennifer Long, MSW, LCSW, Cardinal Kids, on receiving the "Care As It Should Be" award from Teleios Collaborative Network (TCN)!

"Care As It Should Be" awards recognize individuals who make an extraordinary impact on the patients and families they serve. As Chris Comeaux, President and CEO of TCN, explains:

“We know that each of the staff members who are on the front lines provide excellent care to patients, so these awards are to recognize those who take care to the next level – those who go above and beyond to make a patient’s experience the best it can be during such vulnerable and challenging times.”

With compassion, skill, and commitment, Jennifer consistently goes above and beyond in her role as social worker to ensure that our Cardinal Kids patients and their families feel supported, cared for, and comforted during every step of the serious illness journey.

Well done, Jennifer!

How fun! Carolina Caring joined the Newton community at the 136th annual Soldier's Reunion Parade on August 21st!

Our float was one of dozens that paraded downtown in celebration and remembrance of veterans from all wars, past and present.

Thank you to everyone who came out to share in this historic day - which is believed to be one of the longest-running patriotic celebrations, not based upon a holiday, in America. We’re grateful to be part of such a special legacy. 💙
