is proud to spotlight Kelly Tate, CAVNC, BA, Vice President of the Patient & Caregiver Experience.
Since joining Carolina Caring in 2010, Tate has guided and enhanced programs that foster a patient experience built on empathy, equity, and service excellence.
She initiated and continues to oversee Carolina Caring’s Program, which has grown to include Veteran pinning ceremonies, Veterans Coffee Connection (community group), the “Walk-A-Mile” virtual group, and other educational/support programs catered to our nation’s and their families.
She also oversees the Department, Hospice services, and and healing support for all ages.
Tate earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and holds the Certified Administrator of Volunteers in North Carolina (CAVNC) credential. She is an active board member of the Women's Resource Center of Hickory, member of The Beryl Institute, and former board member of The Conflict Resolution Center.
