This is the best lay person article I have seen about the concerns around testing results.

I have also encountered labs claiming FDA approval and when I investigated it was Chinese FDA they were referring to. NO antibody test is great right now, not even those approved by FDA for Emergency Use Access (EUA).

As some states begin to lift social distancing restrictions, many Americans are asking themselves, "Where can I find an antibody test near me?"

The five minute antibody test has been difficult to get. In any case, it SHOULD NOT be used SOLELY TO DIAGNOSE COVID-19.. The PCR test measures the RNA presence of the virus should be used for that. The NEW and FASTEST (5-15 minute) PCR test out there now is Abbott labs new test. Still the problem remains access to obtain them. The Antibody testing is not approved by the FDA, nor is it approved under "the FDA's Emergency Use Access (EUA).
