We have received recent reports of fraudulent phone calls to Union State Bank customers that use spoofing techniques to display our toll free phone number and "Union State Bank" on caller ID. The scammer identifies themselves as an employee in the USB fraud department and attempts to trick the customer into sharing security or personal identifying information while feeling pressured or rushed to act without thinking.

Remember, we will NEVER reach out to you over the phone or through a text message unexpectedly, and request any of the following info:
• Full account #
• Personal Info like Social Security # or Date of Birth
• Online Banking Username and/or Password
• Full debit card # or CVV Code
• Debit Card PIN
• One time passcodes provided by the bank for digital verification purposes
• Driver’s License Information

If you receive a suspicious call, do not respond or disclose any information to the caller. Hang up and call Union State Bank at 1-866-557-0060 to confirm the call is legitimate.
