Empower Family
We wanted to take a moment to share something meaningful happening at our Newton clinic this month.
As many of you know, our Empower PT team is truly a family—and this year, we are honoring two beloved members of that family who passed away: Jason and Mel.
Honoring Jason-
Jason was a talented PTA and an unforgettable part of our company. He had a gift for connecting with people—his patients adored him, and his coworkers trusted him. He was fun, thoughtful, and always full of great advice. Jason tragically passed away in a car accident in 2023, but his laughter and heart continue to inspire us every day.
Honoring Mel-
Mel served as our VPPR and was the powerhouse behind our marketing for years. She was incredibly dedicated, organized, and endlessly supportive—a true “Amazing mom” who could handle anything thrown her way. Mel passed away from cancer in January, and her strength continues to motivate all of us.
Our Goal
A Memorial Bench
To honor their impact, our Newton clinic is raising funds to place a permanent memorial bench at the front of our office. This will be a space for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for the incredible people they were.
We have set a goal of $1,000, and every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to giving Jason and Mel a beautiful place of tribute.
