🤝 Gentiva invites your participation in a food drive, a community initiative designed to combat food insecurity. Your contribution, of any size, will directly support families in need. This collaborative effort seeks to make a tangible difference and assist local residents. We will donate all goods received to the local food bank in Hickory once everything has been collected. Donations can be dropped off at our office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The drive will start Tuesday, September 2nd, and continue until Thursday, October 2nd.

She is caring to each and every patient she comes in contact with, and they tell us each visit how thankful they are for her. You can tell that this is where she belongs, and she has a hospice heart. We want to take a moment to recognize Heather for all the hard work and compassion that she brings to each and every one of her patients. She is truly dedicated to her patients and maintaining their comfort and dignity while caring for them in their time of need. When patients have things that come up spontaneously, she will rearrange her schedule to accommodate them and what they need at that time. She is very professional and yet also personal with her patients and their families. Every one of the patients that she cares for has nothing but wonderful things to say about her. We honestly could not care for these patients without her. Thank you, Heather, for all your hard work and dedication to our patients; it does not go unnoticed!
