Please check all your vitamins and especially your prenatal vitamins!! When they say that pregnant women need folic acid during pregnancy, they are using the term interchangeably with FOLATE, but it is not created equally and in some cases can be dangerous during pregnancy. Little known fact: The US required that all commercial flour be sprayed with folic acid. Organic flour is not required to have folic acid added, but they can choose to add it if they like. Check the ingredients of all your food. Message me if you need any recommendations for good prenatal or vitamin brands and go now to check the ingredients of all your supplements!
