What is The Resiliency Center?
The Resiliency Center is a safe and supportive healing environment for those affected by the tragic event of February 25, 2016, in Newton and Hesston, Kansas. Our free and confidential services and programs promote healing, overall wellness, provide education, and resources. Our center is a welcoming place for people to connect and obtain assistance in the healing process.
The Resiliency Center provides free, confidential services of individualized care in our center, on the phone and in the community. Trained staff provide trauma-informed services to children and adults. These essential services include:
• 24-hour Helpline • Crisis Intervention • Personal Advocacy • Medical Advocacy •Therapeutic Services – Adult & Child • Emergency Safe Shelter • Support Group • First Responder Support • Community Awareness and Education
