Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported, just as they are.

You don’t have to change who you are to be worthy of care.

Your voice matters. Your story matters. You matter.

The effects of bullying can permeate into adulthood, affecting mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Victims are at higher risk of developing mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Even after the bullying stops, the psychological damage may persist, often hidden from view. That’s why early and ongoing support from family, friends, and communities is crucial.

By raising awareness about the negative consequences of bullying, we empower individuals to recognize the signs and take action to stop it. Recovery is possible. No one should feel ashamed about seeking help to heal from the effects of bullying.

Back-to-school season brings more than packed lunches and fresh notebooks, it brings emotions.

For kids, it can be excitement, nervousness, or fear of change. For parents, it might mean pride, worry… or that bittersweet ache of watching your child grow.

These transitions mark milestones and it’s okay to feel emotional about them. Whether it’s your child’s first day of kindergarten or their last year at home, your feelings are valid.

At Prairie View, we understand that change can stir up big emotions and we’re here to support your family through all of it.
