When is the last time you flew a kite?

Our incredible Life Enrichment team took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent time outside flying kites with our residents. Laughter filled the air as colorful kites danced in the sky, bringing out smiles, sweet memories, and a sense of childlike joy in all of us.

These are the moments that matter—fresh air, sunshine, connection, and creating meaningful experiences together. We are so grateful for a team that goes above and beyond to bring happiness and engagement to our residents each and every day.

Because it’s not just about activities… it’s about making life brighter. 🪁✨

Forgetting where you placed your glasses happens to all of us.

Dementia involves more persistent changes — difficulty managing finances, confusion in familiar places, or challenges following conversations.

If something feels different, it’s worth paying attention. Early conversations allow for clarity and proactive planning.

Our team is always available to help families understand what steps might be appropriate.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, representing approximately 60–80% of cases.

While not all dementia is Alzheimer’s, understanding the distinction can help families make informed, thoughtful decisions.

Clear information helps families move forward with confidence. If you’d like to learn more about memory support options within your local PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) community, we’re always glad to share resources.
