Throughout July, The Willows—our affordable housing community in Burlington, NC—hosted a Back-to-School Supply Drive. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, we collected backpacks, pencils, pens, composition books, glue sticks, and so much more! 💛✏️🖍️

Now in its third year, this meaningful tradition continues to support local students in need. This year’s donations will go to the children of East Lawn Elementary School in Burlington, NC.

We’re so proud of our community for coming together to make a difference. Wishing all the students a successful and inspiring school year ahead! 🍎🎉

💝 Residents at Emmanuel's Place, our affordable housing community in Statesville, were thrilled today by the kindness of Yokefellow Ministry, Statesville NC. The ministry delivered items from their food pantry to 37 of our tenants for the first time!

Residents received a box of canned goods, a bag of fresh produce, and a bag with frozen meats. The ministry was even gracious enough to deliver the items door to door. Plus, they've secured the means to provide our residents with a food delivery each month. It's such a blessing, and we're incredibly grateful. 🫶 🙏

🤠🎉 NOAH just turned 24—and they celebrated in true Western style! Their Boots on the Ground anniversary bash brought residents and staff together for a rootin’-tootin’ good time filled with cowboy hats, boots, and big smiles.

But this wasn’t just a party—it’s a reflection of how NOAH and EveryAge approach senior living in New Bern, NC: hands-on, heart-first, and community-strong. 💪🏽

We’re proud to support older adults in Craven County with vibrant, inclusive housing that feels like home. 🏡✨

💦 How exciting is this! We recently began installing hydroponic gardens in several of our communities. The units allow us to grow fresh produce solely in a water-based solution rather than needing soil. This week, we harvested the greens we'd planted not long ago at Carolina Senior Living in Lexington, NC, and prepared them for our residents. 🥬

🥗 We made a caesar salad with the lettuce, and Glen Berkel, our senior director of hospitality, cooked bok choy so folks could see the different ways that greens can be prepared and enjoyed. Everyone loved taste-testing what they'd grown and were impressed by what could be produced quite easily with just seeds, water, and light! 🪴🌞

🎉 Although steel is the traditional gift for an 11th anniversary, folks at Carolina Senior Living – our affordable housing community in Lexington, NC – thought pizza and cake would taste better, so that's what they opted for! 😂

Our residents and staff marked the anniversary with lots of fun, fellowship, and conversation – and plenty of good food from Times Square Pizzeria- Lexington and Fancy Pastry Shop. 🎂

Recently, Martha shared how much she missed being out on Lake Hickory, feeling the breeze in her hair and the sun on her face. Thanks to the Grant A Dream™ program and a thoughtful nomination from our very own Emily Mathis, that dream is about to come true!

Martha had the opportunity to set sail once again, joined by her friends and guided by two amazing captains from our team. With two pontoons generously donated by Dan at Lake Hickory Pub & Marina, a cooler full of refreshments, and a lakeside lunch to follow, this day will be unforgettable.

Residents and staff came together to mark a major milestone — the 26th anniversary of The Willows, our beloved affordable housing community in Burlington, NC. ♥️♠️🃏🎲

🏠 Since opening its doors in 1998, The Willows has built a strong reputation as a supportive and welcoming place to call home.

🎲 This year’s celebration brought the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas right to their doorstep! With a "Viva Las Vegas" theme, the space was transformed into a dazzling casino-style party complete with games, music, delicious food — and yes, even a visit from Elvis (well, almost 😉).

💃 It was a day full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories — truly an event for the history books! Help us wish them a Happy Anniversary in the comments!
