As we close out Nurses Week, we would like to share a few heartfelt reflections from our Director of Nursing on the incredible impact of this profession:
"There are moments in healthcare that remind you exactly why investing in people matters — and this is one of them.
During Nurses Week, I had the honor of standing alongside three incredible individuals while reciting the modern-day Nightingale Pledge — a moment that felt even more meaningful knowing the journeys each of them took to get there. Watching them step into the next chapter of nursing with such passion and purpose was something truly special.
I am proud to celebrate these four amazing individuals whose journeys began as CNAs here at Park Centre and whose dedication, sacrifice, and determination continue to inspire all of us.
⭐Annalyse — from CNA to now celebrating her LPN pinning, with her sights already set on the next step toward becoming an RN.
⭐Sean — from CNA to LPN, and now proudly pinned as an RN.
⭐Gabrielle — from CNA to LPN, and now celebrating her RN pinning as well.
⭐Peyton Wright — from CNA to LPN and now celebrating her RN *Not pictured
What makes this even more special is that these milestones were achieved while continuing to serve, grow, and care for others here at Park Centre. Balancing school, work, life, and endless responsibilities is no small task. The late nights, sacrifices, stress, perseverance, and commitment behind these accomplishments deserve so much recognition.
At Park Centre, we believe in supporting growth, encouraging education, and creating opportunities for people to chase their dreams — and watching these three achieve those dreams has been an absolute honor.
I am humbled and incredibly proud to have walked alongside each of them on this journey. While we can encourage and support, the true credit belongs to them and the endless hard work they poured into reaching these milestones. Congratulations, Annalyse, Sean, Gabrielle and Peyton. Your futures are incredibly bright, and Park Centre is better because of each of you." Nicole M, Director of Nursing
