🌽🔥 Yesterday was a fun-filled day!

Our residents rolled up their sleeves and shucked over 100 ears of corn—teamwork at its finest. It turned into a dual project, too, as one of our team members was able to take the husks home to her horses 🐴.

Later in the afternoon, we soaked up the gorgeous weather and gathered around the fire pit for a sweet treat—s’mores! 🍫✨ We even got creative and tried marshmallow-covered strawberries (spoiler: they were delicious!).

It was a day full of hard work, laughter, and new memories made. 💛

On Wednesday, the team from Park Centre brought energy and enthusiasm to the WesleyLife booth, engaging with attendees and sharing information about our mission and services. The booth was a hub of fun and connection, with visitors enjoying friendly (yet competitive!) rounds of Connect 4 and great conversation.

🎉 We Ended WesleyLife Week with a SPLASH — Rain and All! 💦🌧️

Last Friday, Park Centre wrapped up WesleyLife Week with a fun and meaningful event: Splash for a Cause! Residents and team members donated canned goods all week long, placing them into the boxes of our bold department representatives. The more cans in their box… the bigger the splash!

And while a surprise rainstorm tried to interrupt the fun, the Park Centre spirit didn’t let it slow us down — everyone kept the energy high and the laughs going! 🌧️😄

All canned goods were donated to The Salvation Army, giving back to those in need right here in our community.

This event was the perfect way to close out WesleyLife Week — a reminder that when we come together as One Wesley, we can make a real difference… and have a blast doing it! 💙

WesleyLife is pleased to announce the successful completion of its $1.2 million Park Centre Memory Campaign, a fundraising initiative that will transform memory support at Park Centre-A WesleyLife Community in Newton, Iowa. Because Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias are on the rise across Iowa and Jasper County is especially affected, the redevelopment comes at a critical time. Read more below!

After our ballgame fun, we kept the momentum going by celebrating the many talents and triumphs that make Park Centre shine!

We hosted our Awards Ceremony, where we recognized just a few of the amazing individuals who bring excellence to life each and every day. But truthfully—every resident and team member is an award winner in our eyes. Park Centre wouldn’t be what it is without each and every one of you.

And because excellence comes in many forms, we also showcased a variety of unique talents, reminding us once again just how special this community is.
