Six months post-ACL reconstruction, Jessica is back on the water! 🚣‍♀️ A former collegiate rower, she now competes at the master’s level with the University Barge Club. Meet Andrew, a competitive volleyball player working to return to the national stage. 💪

He’s currently rehabbing with physical therapist Erik Caplan to manage his patellar tendinopathy, a common injury amongst explosive athletes who jump, cut, and sprint. Blood Flow Restriction training, isometrics, and heavy slow resistance exercise all play a significant role in his current programming.

We’re impressed by his drive, discipline, and commitment to the process—and can’t wait to see him soaring above the net again soon. 🙌🔥

🌱Spring is here—and it’s the perfect time to shake off winter stiffness. Whether you're getting back to running, gardening, or weekend sports, your body deserves proper care.

Here are 5 ways to reintroduce movement safely this season:

1️⃣ Start slow and build gradually – Ease into activity with low-impact movements to avoid injury.

2️⃣ Warm up properly – Spend 5–10 minutes on dynamic stretches to prep your muscles and joints.

3️⃣ Listen to your body – Soreness is okay, but sharp pain is a red flag. Don’t push through discomfort.

4️⃣ Strengthen supporting muscles – Focus on your core, hips, and glutes to support healthy movement.

5️⃣ Recover well – Stay hydrated, stretch post-activity, and give your body time to recover.
