A huge welcome to Dr. Charles Schafer to the Subbio Plastic Surgery Team!👏

Dr. Schafer completed a rigorous general surgery residency at The University of North Carolina and ultimately became certified by the American Board of Surgery. He was then selected for plastic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Emory University. During his time there, he trained at Grady Memorial Hospital, where he gained experience in complex reconstructive surgery.

Microneedling uses tiny needles to create small punctures on the top layer of the skin’s surface resulting in microscopic injuries. These injuries promote the body’s natural ability to create collagen and elastin resulting in an improvement in the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, acne scarring, skin laxity, textural irregularities, and pore size.

Another plus - no need to take time off from work or wait until the weekend for this treatment! Depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment, most people will be red (similar to sunburn) for a few days.
