Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses

Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses Committed to Excellence in Home Care since 1987 Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses is a nurse-owned and nurse-operated small business, not a franchise. Need help?

Our staff are employees of the agency, not independent contractors. We are a Pennsylvania State licensed Home Care company. Because we are owned and operated by nurses, there are no unskilled decision makers. We have grown organically using this model to provide first rate service for individuals living in Philadelphia, Delaware County, and the Main Line area since 1987. In addition to our high quality In Home Care, we provide Registered Nurse Geriatric Care Management and Special Needs Care for those coping with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challenges. Elderly patients, individuals who have suffered a stroke or heart attack, those with Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), or Quadriplegia are a great fit for our services. It is our mission to advocate on your behalf, coordinate your care, and to act as a trusted advisor for you and your loved ones as you navigate the many challenges surrounding Long Term Care. The Pennsylvania and national media are telling the story of a PA budget failure - the majority of home care was left behind and our communities will feel the impact.

Just this last week, the media shared our disappointment over and over again:

Our legislators may not have acted this year, but the pressure is only just beginning for next year. Our voices will grow stronger, our message louder, and our advocacy more visible until home care is funded.

Being highly skilled, exceptional, dedicated, and impactful runs in the family. Monique and Zemir, two of our star employees, both Licensed Practical Nurses, who happen to be mother and son!

Zemir looks back on his mom’s resilience and hard work when she completed nursing school while working full time. This experience gave him the confidence to move forward when it came time to pursue a career of his own. After working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing felt like a natural progression. Zemir saw through Monique’s experience that the rewards outweighed the challenges. Caring and being compassionate came naturally, Zemir says, “it’s easy to care.” Monique’s decision to become a Nurse involved choosing a profession that was stable where her passion for helping others could shine. "Nursing goes beyond what I imagined. It's more than a career. It is connecting with Clients and their families, and making a meaningful difference in their lives." Monique describes seeing Zemir find success in the field of Nursing, “he is fearless, courageous, knowledgeable and highly skilled, it is a proud mom moment, very fulfilling.”
