Sensory Zone is a brand new, state-of-the-art pediatric sensory gym located in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Our experienced Sensory Zone therapists utilize a play-based approach in a fun and goal-driven environment to assist children in developing necessary skills in areas including: sensory processing, fine, gross, and visual motor skills, social awareness, and communication. Our team views each child

as an individual, which leads to therapies designed purposefully for your child. In order to further facilitate your child’s overall improvement and success, sessions are offered in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. We provide a comforting space that embraces individuality and contributes to self esteem building and increased confidence in children through the art of play. Our therapists use their knowledge to stimulate your child through the use of specialized play equipment. This equipment includes: rock climbing walls, a foam pit, multiple swings, monkey bars, zip lines, tunnels, slides, trapeze bars, ladders, a cargo net and much more. Sensory Zone also offers numerous nooks and crannies to explore, designated fine motor areas where your child can learn increasingly more complex tasks, and a full kitchen area for multi-sensory stimulation and other life skills opportunities for learning.

Bringing the snow inside today at SZ! ❄️

-Mix up some watercolor paints (or some food coloring and water to create your paint).

-To tie in hand strengthening, bilateral hand use, and grading of force, consider using eye droppers to transfer the paint onto to the snow!

-No eye droppers? No problem! This activity also works well using sponge paint brushes!
