Newtown Massage Guru Massage Therapy Today for Better Tomorrows Bio-

I am the owner and operator of a modest massage therapy studio in Newtown, Connecticut. Life is generally good.

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2006, and have practiced in Michigan, Florida, and Connecticut. My education has been diverse; I enjoyed taking classes in a plethora of subjects over the years. I hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees, with focuses in music performance, French, and English. I also had the pleasure of living and studying in France for a year, a beautiful country that will

always hold a special place in my heart. My work experience prior to massage therapy includes teaching French at the university level, medical office management, and retail management. Preferred pastimes generally involve music, whether it's playing the flute or listening to anything interesting from anywhere, no matter the genre. I also enjoy poetry, plays, and the occasional novel. Long walks in forests are always good, but I prefer them sans mosquitos and bears. I live a quiet life with my husband, son, mother-in-law, and cats in a lovely old money-sucking Victorian in Thomaston, Connecticut.

It's Gratitude Tuesday!

Even massage gurus occasionally overdo! Yesterday, I treated myself to some much needed therapeutic work with excellent results. Consequently, I'm giving shout-outs to the two gentlemen who helped me get back on track.

I'd like to thank my neighbor and acupuncturist extraordinaire Perry Levenson, DACM, L.Ac at Whole Healthy Family.
