We are excited to introduce Prolotherapy, a regenerative treatment now available with Dr. Ghauri.
Prolotherapy works by injecting a dextrose solution into an affected area using a series of small injections. This solution acts as a mild irritant that stimulates the body’s natural healing response, encouraging the immune system to repair and strengthen the surrounding tissue.
This process helps promote increased blood flow, the release of growth factors, and the production of collagen, which support the repair of weakened or damaged tissue.
Rather than simply masking symptoms, prolotherapy is designed to support the body’s ability to heal injured or weakened structures.
This treatment may be considered for concerns such as:
• Joint pain and knee osteoarthritis
• Torn meniscus and ligament injuries
• Tendon conditions such as tennis elbow, Achilles tendinitis, and plantar fasciitis
