Happy Monday Kiln Reveal!! Kitchen accessories for the win!

12/07/2025

Last night I finally got to put my water feature on display at the art show. 👀✨

I’ve been hyping up all my students’ kiln reveals and class creations (because honestly—they’re crushing it). But it feels pretty special to switch it up and share my own work for once.

Creating this piece reminded me why I teach in the first place: the process, the play, the “let’s-see-what-happens” magic that clay always brings. 🌊👐

🎉 Kiln Reveal Time! 🎉
Our Try-It-Out class ornaments just finished their big debut out of the kiln and OMG… the beginners absolutely crushed it. Like… can we all acknowledge how these “I’ve-never-touched-clay-before” folks made this level of adorable?? 👏🔥
You’ll notice there are two pieces still waiting for glaze 👀 — what color would you choose? Drop your best glaze wisdom in the comments so we can make them extra fabulous. ✨
And can we please talk about the little Highland cow cup??? I can’t handle the cuteness. Legit one of the best Christmas gifts a student is going to give this year. 🐮💛🎁
More kiln magic coming soon — stay tuned. 😉
