Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

To every mom in our community—thank you. You give so much of yourself each day. This Mother’s Day, we hope you take a moment to receive: rest, support, and care. Here are 5 wellness tips to nourish your body and mind

🌿 We’re proud to share that Dr. Brody was honored with the Doctor as Teacher award at this year’s Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association (CNPA) conference!

This award celebrates one of the core principles of naturopathic medicine: that doctors are not just healers, but teachers. The word doctor actually comes from the Latin docere — to teach.

Dr. Brody truly lives this philosophy. Whether he's explaining a diagnosis in a way that makes sense, mentoring the next generation of naturopathic doctors, or leading classes on the mat as a 4th-degree black belt in Aikido, he’s passionate about empowering others through knowledge.

We're so lucky to have a doctor who believes that informed, educated patients are the healthiest kind. 💚

🌿 It’s Naturopathic Medicine Week! 🌿

Did you know this national recognition exists thanks to advocacy efforts by naturopathic doctors—just like Dr. Brody’s recent trip to Washington, DC?

Back in 2013, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution highlighting the impact of naturopathic medicine in delivering safe, effective, and affordable care. It also encouraged Americans to learn more about how NDs help prevent and manage chronic conditions.

This week is the perfect time to explore how naturopathic care can support your long-term health and wellness.

Caring for the whole you means going beyond surface-level symptoms. Naturopathic doctors are trained to identify and address the underlying causes of illness—whether they stem from lifestyle choices, environmental exposures, genetic predispositions, or unknown factors.

Guided by the principle of “treat the cause,” NDs work closely with patients to remove obstacles to healing and restore the body’s natural balance.⚖️ This comprehensive approach not only supports real, lasting recovery but also empowers people to take an active role in their health.

When you understand the root cause of your health challenges, you gain the insight and confidence to overcome them.✨ Learn more: https://bit.ly/42JhVQU

Heads up - our office will be closed this Friday and Saturday to attend the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association (CNPA) Annual Conference—and for good reason! Our very own Dr. Brody is the current President of the CNPA 🙌

That means he’s been working hard behind the scenes to:

✅ Expand prescription rights for NDs in Connecticut
✅ Advocate for better insurance coverage of naturopathic medicine
✅ Support ongoing education and collaboration among naturopathic doctors

We’re proud to be part of a growing movement to strengthen naturopathic medicine across the state. Thanks for your understanding while we're away!

Your backyard is medicine. Let’s protect it. 🌲🌸

Nature isn’t just beautiful—it’s deeply healing.

Studies show that just 20 minutes outside can lower cortisol, support immune function, and boost mental clarity. We see it every day in our work with patients—and in our own lives. (Dr. Brody’s favorite way to reconnect? Mountain biking.)

The more we align with the rhythms of nature, the more our bodies respond with resilience.
