This award recognizes our organization for exceptional patient processing speed throughout the past year, a reflection of the hard work, coordination, and commitment of our entire team.

Every department plays a role in making sure patients receive timely access to the equipment and care they need. We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful to Tennr for this recognition.

Meet Zach, Our Revenue Cycle Intern!

Behind every smooth patient experience is a strong revenue cycle - and Zach has been an incredible part of making that happen here at Health System Services.

We sat down with Zach for a quick Q&A to learn more about him and his experience:

What is your favorite part of your internship?
My favorite part about the internship is that I can combine my background in economics/math with the tasks I do on a daily basis. I find it very satisfying to discover new ways I can apply my education and training to areas within HSS's revenue cycle department.

How has working at HSS impacted you in a positive way?
Working at HSS has been an overwhelming positive experience! I had no health management experience when I got hired, so my internship has been a wonderful learning opportunity. If I ever have a question, my supervisors and coworkers are always willing to help and explain the context behind the tasks I am completing.

What is your favorite animal?
Cats

What is your favorite band?
Pink Floyd

What is your favorite sports team?
Pittsburgh Steelers

This week (and every week), we’re celebrating the incredible technicians who go above and beyond for our patients every single day. From early mornings to long days on the road, their dedication, compassion, and expertise truly make a difference.

We kicked things off with breakfast yesterday as a small thank-you for everything they do—but no amount of bacon or bagels could ever fully express our gratitude.
