It is that time of year again! With fall approaching rapidly, we are collecting candy donations for our annual Trunk or Treat event! All details can be found in both of these flyers. The Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 12th and we will be accepting candy donations until October 10th. You can find a bin for the candy donation at the reception desk.

Thank you all in advance for your support and participation, it was a blast last year and we can’t wait to see all the amazing costumes this year!

If you did not get your hands on a copy, here is the September calendar! We will be posting our monthly calendars upon completion for every month starting now, that way those family members active on Facebook can keep up with what your loved ones are doing here!

Any questions/suggestions or if you’d like to see your family member participate in something, please call the facility and ask for Sara!

Not included on here is the Buffalo Bills game schedule. The hard copies have them all written in so we can track every game and support the Bills!!!

Tis the season for some Olympic games! A few of our residents participated in 5 different activities. We had a marathon race, dash race, relay race, bowling tournament and a co****le tournament! Here are just some of our medal winners. Go team Elderwood Wheatfield ALF!!!!

I want to thank everyone that came out yesterday to make our Community Adoption Event with Cat by Cat Inc. such a success! There were some adorable cats that we got to see, yummy treats to pick at and lovely baskets to raffle off! We had a great turnout and the residents loved getting to see and hold the cats. Thank you to everyone involved! Let’s do it again sometime.

Hello everyone & Happy New Year! It has been a while since we’ve posted on our Facebook here but we are back! We have had an exciting couple months here at Elderwood Wheatfield Assisted Living and hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

Come February, there are a lot of fun things planned for our residents. One of those things includes taking the time to team up with two local cat rescues from WNY and take the opportunity to host an adoption event here at the facility.

All members of the community are welcome to adopt, come hangout, talk to someone about fostering, or just bring your family member by to hangout with some adorable kitties! I have attached a flyer with all of the details on this event and as always, if you have any questions then please contact Sara, our new Activity Director! (that’s me!) We are excited to be back on social media and I will make sure to keep you all updated with photos of your family members! Thank you & stay warm! 😊

We had the best time celebrating both Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day yesterday. Everyone was able to make their own candy bag at our candy bar and an added sweet treat of chocolate covered strawberries and cookies was also served! Thank you to all who helped pull this little soirée together!
