I hear from people A LOT about how hard it is to trust themselves. Are they making the right decisions? Did they say the right things? Are they too much? Not enough? The list goes on and on and on.

But when you get right down to it, most of us haven't even met ourselves yet. And I mean truly. And deeply. The self that is separate from the societal "shoulds" and expectations. So OF COURSE we find it difficult to trust ourselves.

The very exciting and sometimes terrifying thing about this healing journey is getting the opportunity to meet ourselves again. We get to reconnect and rediscover forgotten, discarded, and hidden parts of ourselves. What a gift we get to give ourselves.

We get to come back home.
