Pregnancy is more than just preparing for birth—it’s about equipping yourself with knowledge, support, and a strong community to step into motherhood with confidence. That’s exactly why we created The Year of Motherhood—a monthly, education-based gathering designed for expectant parents.

Each session will focus on a key topic, providing practical, expert-led education. A unique offering that complements traditional childbirth education by diving deeper into the journey of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood. These sessions will be facilitated by highly trained professionals from our local community, including:

👶 Childbirth Educators & Doulas – Birth options, labor prep, and postpartum support
🤱 Lactation Consultants – Breastfeeding basics, troubleshooting, and newborn feeding
🧘‍♀️ Chiropractors, Massage & Physical Therapists – Body alignment for pregnancy and postpartum recovery
🎒 Babywearing & Car Seat Experts – Safe & functional ways to carry and transport your baby
🥗 Nutrition & Health Coaches – Nourishing yourself for a healthy pregnancy and beyond

This isn’t just a support group—it’s an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in your choices before baby arrives.

We are Stronger Together

“Doula” comes from a Greek word that literally means “woman’s servant.” Labor doulas support, encourage, educate and comfort expectant/new families. Postpartum doulas support, educate and comfort new families in the first months following birth. We serve families in Northwest Florida in Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Escambia counties.

There have been many scientific studies showing that mother, baby, and the surrounding family display a notably higher sense of physical, emotional, and mental well being with the care and support of a doula.

Women are stronger when we work together, whether that means doulas supporting mamas or doulas joining forces to better serve expectant and new parents. We are Stronger Together.

That’s why we teamed up. Megan Scott is a licensed massage therapist, craniosacral practitioner and labor/postpartum doula, and supports parents through her magic hands and compassion. Learn more about her here.
