Success! We gave over 60 flu vaccines today to parents and patients. We always enjoy these Saturday Flu clinics and hope you will join us for a Saturday or weekday clinic in October or November.
We give the Flu shots because they protect against influenza. There were pediatric deaths last year in unimmunized, healthy kids. Typically, the influenza virus attacks, and then a bacterial pneumonia causes further illness and death.

Django brought joy to so many patients over the past two years. Sadly, he became sick, and we had to say goodbye. He is buried in my backyard, near where he sunbathed and enjoyed the fresh air when he wasn't at the office with me. We miss him dearly. Thank you to all who petted him and gave him back the love.

Spring has brought change to our practice! Be sure to wish Jeanne a very happy retirement, and please say goodbye to Nurse Jennifer as she leaves to start a work from home nursing position. I am grateful to both of them for making Lynn Keefe Pediatrics such a special place.

Jennifer hopes to say goodbye to all, but since she won't see everyone before her last day, she wanted to say:
"It has been a privilege to care for your families over the past nearly 8 years! Watching the practice grow from day one and seeing your children grow right alongside has been a blessing. I will truly miss my job here and hope that you'll still say "Hi" when we run into each other around town. Thank you for allowing me to care for your families and for all of the memories that I will carry with me always!" Nurse Jennifer.

Well, due to ice on the roads and in our parking lot and on the pavers, I made the decision to keep the office closed until Thursday. Please be very careful driving to and from the office and take extra care at the entrance. We will be open Thursday and Friday and will reschedule patients who missed appointments Wednesday.

Brrrr! Bundle up! We will be open tomorrow, Tuesday morning, and then will close as the snow approaches. We will reopen Wednesday at 12noon unless the roads are too dangerous for staff and patients.
