We had an incredible weekend serving our community and connecting with military families and seniors across Northwest Florida! 🇺🇸💙

Comfort Keepers was honored to sponsor and participate in Military Family Appreciation Day in Fort Walton Beach, an event filled with meaningful conversations, shared stories, and valuable support for our military community. We packed and distributed 120 goody bags, handed out over 50 brochures, and met countless families interested in learning more about our VA-supported care services.

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month (PAM)
Do you know the early warning signs of Parkinson's Disease?

1. Tremors, often in the hands or fingers
2. Small handwriting
3. Loss of smell
4. Trouble sleeping
5. Trouble moving or walking, including stiffness and balance problems
6. Constipation
7. A soft or low voice
8. Facial Masking, meaning a reduction of facial expressions
9. Dizziness or fainting
10. Stooping or hunching over
No single one of these signs means that you should worry, but if you have more than one sign, consider making an appointment to talk to your doctor.

Each quarter we provide specialized training for our Caregivers. Later this month we will have training on Parkinson's Disease to go along with PAM.

Fun in the Sun with our incredible caregivers!

Yesterday, our rockstar caregiver Stephen Maus took his client, Ms. Barbra, out for some sunshine and smiles at Goofy Golf - proof that caregiving can be just as fun as it is meaningful.

Meanwhile, over at the Niceville Senior Center, they were soaking up the spooky vibes with some Halloween fun - costumes, laughter and plenty of treats.

At Comfort Keepers, we don't just provide care - we create joyful moments. Whether it's on the green or at a community event, our caregivers are all about making life brighter for our seniors.
