We have received reports of fraudulent text messages claiming to be from the ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐š ๐ƒ๐Œ๐• regarding โ€œoutstanding traffic ticketsโ€ and threatening penalties.

The message states that penalties will begin on ๐…๐ž๐›๐ซ๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, including:
โ€ข Immediate vehicle registration suspension
โ€ข Driverโ€™s license suspension for 30 days
โ€ข A 35% service fee added to fines
โ€ข Legal proceedings and credit score impact
โ€ข A link directing you to a suspicious payment website

โš ๏ธ ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐ฌ๐œ๐š๐ฆ.

The Florida DMV does ๐ง๐จ๐ญ send text messages demanding immediate payment through unofficial links. The website included in the message is not a legitimate government domain.
