Florida just made history.

The Second Chance Act is now law...making Florida the first state to require EKG screenings for high school athletes starting in 2026.

It’s named after Chance Gainer, a teen athlete who passed away from an undetected heart condition. His story sparked action—and now, lives will be saved.

Traditional sports physicals often miss what an EKG can catch. And this new law? It’s proof that change is possible.
