Hope's Embrace is a community doula initiative that provides maternal healthcare mentoring and services from pregnancy through the critical first year of life throughout Kentucky.

Meet Kaitlyn! She’s a birth and postpartum doula, a wife, and a mom to a beautiful little girl 🌿✨ Kaitlyn loves being in nature, creating art, and exploring new places (Dunkin' Donuts iced caramel coffee and sushi are surefire ways to her heart!).

Her journey into doula work began when she experienced the transformative power of birth with the support of her own doula. That experience inspired her to dedicate her time to helping other moms navigate birth and postpartum with confidence, care, and support.

We’re so grateful Kaitlyn brings her heart, knowledge, and compassion to every family she serves!

🌿 Join Us THIS WEEK for a 3-Day Doula Training Event! 🌿

Hope’s Embrace is excited to invite you to an immersive 3-day Doula Training, hosted at the Hampton Inn in Nicholasville, KY. This event will be held this weekend, November 14-16 , 9 AM - 5 PM daily. Whether you're starting your journey as a doula or deepening your skills, this training will equip you with the knowledge and support to empower families in your community.

Attendance Fee: $650

One way we support our mission is by training doulas—particularly in areas where more support is needed. Our curriculum is designed to bridge gaps left by many traditional doula trainings, focusing on working with at-risk and marginalized populations. A few of the categories covered by the training include:

-The physiological and emotional aspects of pregnancy and birth
-Supporting clients through labor and the postpartum period
-Communication and advocacy skills
-Cultural competency and trauma-informed care
-Guidance on setting up and running your own doula business

By completing this training, you will be certified as a birth doula through Hope’s Embrace. Once certified, you are free to practice independently or contract with us to serve families in your community!
