We survived with minimal damage

The buckets and kiddie pools collected and were emptied several times from under the structure... I would say I emptied 90 gallons from overflowing bucking during each hit. Had the usual zones in Wanderland Healing Camp flood and create temporary little rivers.

Few of the dwellings had collection in their buckets to empty as well.

It can be such a pain, but sure is beautiful when the skies open up and the rains wash away the patina of our desert.
Now every plant and rock has a nice gleam as the sun rises to the morning sky

Today will be busy, but not rushed.
Time to hang out what needs to return to dry. Flip standing water out of collection vessels. Go to Brawley and pick up the donation drop to bring back and share with Slab City Residents
