Celebrating Kelly Schreiman, Director of Social Services, on her 1-year anniversary at Citadel at Saint Benedict.

Kelly shares that she enjoys her role and the positive, supportive environment that gives each day purpose.

When asked what advice she would give to someone starting in healthcare, Kelly said, β€œBuild strong relationships and stay connected. It’s a small world, and the connections you make along the way matter.”

Reflecting on her favorite memory, Kelly said, β€œThe summer luau with our residents and their families was such a great experience. It was wonderful to see everyone come together and enjoy that time.”

If she had to describe her journey in one word, it would be β€œrewarding,” adding, β€œI get to make an impact on people’s lives and continue to build on that each day. Supporting residents and their families is what makes this work so meaningful to me.”

Last week, during National Long-Term Care Administrators Week, we recognized Howard Alter of Citadel of Saint Benedict and his perspective on leadership in skilled nursing.

On what he finds most rewarding, Howard shared, "Seeing people improve, watching their progress, and supporting them as they return home after their recovery."
