We had a great time at our annual Costume Contest! Staff brought their A-game with the Evil Queen and her poison apples winning Best Costume, Scream taking Scariest, the WWE Hulk & Undertaker winning Funniest, and the three-person group of Mario, Luigi & Koopa Troopa snagging Best Couple honors! Our residents were just as creative, with a Nice witch placing First (she might still turn you into a frog! ), Darth Vader coming in 2nd, and a beautiful Angel claiming 3rd place! What a fun day of spooks and smiles!

This morning's "Exercise Class" was a HUGE success!
Let's be honest, the word "exercise" isn't exactly a crowd-pleaser. So, we did what any great nursing home does: we rebranded!

Maxine is officially 101 today and spent the morning celebrating with a wonderful lunch outing with her son & daughter-n-law! She's been overjoyed and so grateful for all the love shown to her—she's been busy reading every single birthday card and has received so many wonderful gifts. She says simply, "God took good care of me." And the celebration isn't over yet! Maxine has a few surprise parties in store over the next two days that she doesn't know about! Shhh! We are so lucky to have such an amazing and inspiring woman in our community. Join us in wishing Maxine a fantastic birthday!
