✨ A look back at our 16th Annual Snowflake Festival ✨

On December 3, we had the joy of welcoming Columbus-area foster youth and their families for an evening filled with connection, laughter, and holiday fun. With 79 attendees and 23 incredible volunteers, the room was full of warmth in all the ways that matter most.

This night wouldn’t have been possible without our generous donors and community partners. A special thank you to White Castle and G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers Inc. for their generous contributions to our buffet, and to everyone who gave, volunteered, or showed up to support our youth.

Because of this community, we were able to create a space where families could relax, celebrate, and simply enjoy being together. We’re so grateful for each person who helped make the Snowflake Festival such a meaningful evening. 💙

OhioRISE Aetna youth often have the most complex needs and the greatest

Thank you, Safeware, for your continued support of foster youth in our Columbus community. Through your partnership with My Very Own Blanket, these handmade blankets will bring warmth, comfort, and care to kids displaced from their homes.

We’re grateful for collaborations like this that bring organizations together around shared purpose. When community partners show up, the impact reaches far beyond one moment—and that’s how real change happens.

Thank you to our Philanthropy Committee for hosting a blanket-making event with My Very Own Blanket. The blankets were donated to Cadence Care Network to support local kids in foster care. We appreciate everyone who took the time to help!

The Ryan Giambattista HELMS Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Cadence Care Network are partnered in an affiliate relationship aimed at making behavioral health therapy, provided by art therapists with master's degrees, more widely accessible to children and individuals across Northeastern Ohio.
