Students may now register for the Medical Terminology class online in five simple steps! Course cost $1,000.
1. Go to WWW.ALREHS.COM
2. Click on “Registration” at the top of the page
3. Fill out your information (Select Medical terminology/Buchanan campus)
4. Scan, Upload, and Submit the required documents (Valid State ID and High School Diploma/GED/or Transcript) no photocopies will be accepted.
5. Pay for the course by clicking on the “Pay Here Button” and check out!

The Course is Two (2) days a week- for Four (4) weeks- Four (4) hours per day:
February 2nd, 2026-February 27th, 2026 (M & W 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm)
March 2nd, 2026-February 27th, 2026 (M & W 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm)

We do NOT accept transferred credits as this is not a credit based program.

Registration is open for the Practical Nursing Program starting in April 2026. All admission requirements must be completed by March 13th, 2026, to be considered for the April cohort. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Call for further details 269-635-5088 (Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm).

Starting January 2026, ALR’s Medical Terminology Course is now required as part of the admission requirements for all of the following Allied Health Programs (Practical Nursing, Pharmacology, Phlebotomy, and Medical Assistant). The cost of the course is $1,000. Payment arrangements are available. The course is 4 weeks long, 2 days a week, 4 hours per day. Day and Evening classes are available. Please call for further details during office hours (Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm) 269-635-5088. This course will be available at our Buchanan campus. ALR DOES NOT ACCEPT TRANSFERRED CREDITS.

Course dates:

January 5th -January 30th, 2026 (Monday & Wednesday 9 am-1 pm or 2 pm-6 pm)

February 9th, 2026 -March 6th, 2026 (Monday & Wednesday 9 am-1 pm or 2 pm-6 pm)
