We’re delighted to have Dr Amy Chang participating in the new Niwot Wellness Lecture Series this year.

Dr Chang’s lecture on Vision and Fall protection will take place September 17th, but until then we recommend checking out the first two lectures in the series from other Niwot wellness experts.

The series begins Wednesday April 16th with a nutrition lecture given by Dr Janine Malcolm of and it will take place at on 2nd Avenue, Niwot.

Did you know? Dr. Amy Chang & Dr. Shelley Rachal specialize in the care of brain injury patients.
Dr. Chang worked in a traumatic brain injury hospital center for a decade and has written a book on treating vision problems in brain injury that therapists use all over the world.

When you schedule an appointment our doctors will perform a detailed exam to identify visual dysfunctions due to brain injury. In addition, they will evaluate for prisms, tints and filters that can provide immediate relief to symptoms.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Amy Chang will be taking on a new volunteer board role as Treasurer of the Niwot Business Association.

The Niwot Business Association and other local volunteer committees provide the backbone of organization, events coordination, and business advocacy for our town.

After becoming a member of the Association since opening her practice in Niwot, Dr Chang is delighted to take on a more proactive role within this key organization, representing business interests in the town of Niwot and also participating in activities and projects which benefit all residents and visitors.
She is looking forward to making a difference in the community and further getting to know our local businesses and the community as a whole.

Meet Stefanie, Vision Therapist Extraordinaire!
Stefanie has been a dedicated vision therapist since 2007, specializing in binocular dysfunction, amblyopia, and strabismus, and guiding athletes to peak performance. Her passion lies in helping those with traumatic brain injuries, finding fulfillment in restoring hope and hearing patients say, “thank you for giving me my life back.”
When not at work, Stefanie enjoys time with family and friends and cheering on the Broncos. She’s a proud volunteer with Special Olympics and Von’s Vision, and an accomplished professional recognized with multiple industry awards.

Meet Makenna!

Since joining us in 2020, Makenna has become a key part of our team with her hardworking spirit and love of learning. She assists with everything from answering calls to helping patients choose frames, and she’s currently pursuing her optician certification—making the Dean's list along the way! Known for her calm and friendly demeanor, Makenna has a natural intuition that makes every patient feel at ease.

Outside of work, Makenna enjoys the outdoors and going to concerts with friends.
