🌿 Drink More Water - and ensure that it’s pure 🌿
Most of us don’t drink enough water daily, which means that the simple act of consuming more of it can have profound beauty benefits. Adequate hydration is essential for nutrient absorption, metabolism, detoxification, circulation, and temperature regulation—and water makes up about 70 percent of our skin.
While you’re increasing your water intake this week, challenge yourself to get to know what’s in the water that you drink, whether it comes from your well or tap, local springs, or purchased bottles. It’s easy and affordable to buy a drinking-water test kit to detect exactly what’s in your primary water source, and there are many water authorities that can provide this info for you if you do a little digging into local resources. If need be, invest in a filter to ensure that you’re not regularly ingesting unnecessary toxins, from byproducts of chlorination, hormones, and antibiotics to minerals from pipes and the soil. A glass of water is a precious resource, and even more valuable in its purest form.
