Hello friends! I have been waiting for Rebekah’s 3 month MRI in order to give an update on this page. I have had several inquiries as to how she is doing, so here goes! First, the good news! Her recent MRI showed that not only is the brain swelling (edema)significantly reduced, but the 2 major tumor sites are 20-30% smaller!🙌🏻🎉 Praise God! Honestly, I was a little surprised (but elated) by this report because physically, she is still very much mobility challenged (fall risk) along with her memory being the worst it has ever been. I did ask her doctor if there was a possibility that her memory could improve if we continued to see shrinkage and he said YES! So we are very encouraged and remain hopeful that she can experience even more improvement. She has come a LONG ways from where she was in my last update after the shunt surgery! The Avastin infusions are doing a great job at addressing the edema as well as helping shrink the tumors. In addition we are using many different alternative therapies since cancer needs to be attacked from several angles, especially in aggressive brain cancers. And lastly, but certainly not least, is the power of prayer! We know that there are so many friends who are praying for our girl and many who have mentioned that they pray for her every single day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽We are so deeply grateful for all your prayers as we know they have made all the difference! 💕 Please continue! ALL things are possible! 🙌🏻 We love you and thank you so much! 🥰💕

Better late than never! Huge photo dump from a couple of weeks ago when some of Rebekah’s best friends came in to spend a few days together! We are so grateful for the generosity of so many kind friends who contributed toward flight costs, provided dinners, breakfast, snacks and so much more! It was such a special time with lots of fun, laughter, meaningful conversations and sweet memories made! It was basically a party that lasted 3-4 days! 🎉😀 The weather was gorgeous and the best part is that Rebekah felt good- even energized- the entire time without one single headache! She and her friends just had the BEST time!🙌🏻Thank you once again to all who have been praying and for all the support. It means the world to us! 💕🥰🙏🏽

Hello friends! I wanted to give you all an update…Rebekah has been having some really good headache free days since I asked for prayer on this page! Your prayers are working and it’s such a relief! Thank you! She is starting to get some congestion and a cough now though so we are doing our best to get her well before her company comes in. Prayers appreciated again!!!
Her friend Jessica has booked a flight for tonight and we are so excited to see her! As a single mom her finances are very tight and I told her to book it anyway and we will get her the money to pay for it. Someone had suggested on my previous post that maybe we could ask for contributions to get her here. So for anyone who would like to help, please message me and I will give you her Venmo. We would ALL really appreciate the help! We need to get together around $1000. Thank you so much!
