Here’s some fun facts you may not have known about breast cancer as we kick of week 3 of 🎀
1. It’s not always present as a lump! Early signs may include:
- Swelling in or around your breast, collarbone or armpit
- Redness, a thickening of the skin, or a change in texture in or around your breast
- Warmth or itching in the breast
- Ni**le changes, such as dimpling, retraction, scaling, or discharge
2. Your chances of having breast cancer are higher if you have a male relative who’s had it.
3. Maintaining a healthy weight can reduce your breast cancer risk.
4. Drinking alcohol can increase your breast cancer risk.
