🌟 OT Spotlight | Meet Heidi! 🌟
We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our OT team — meet Heidi Altom! 💙
A little about her:

Heidi lives downtown with her husband, young adult daughter, and two very special needs cats who have clearly found the perfect home! 🐱🐱 She is a dedicated yogi who will tell you yoga is great for the body, mind, and balance — and she takes that seriously! From Goat Yoga to Puppy Yoga, she has done it all, and this May she is heading to a yoga retreat in Banff, Canada. 🧘‍♀️🐐🍁 We are a little jealous!

Her OT journey:
Heidi has been an Occupational Therapist for a long time, with the majority of her career spent in home care. She knows this world well and brings a wealth of experience to our patients!

Why Suburban Home Health?
Heidi was personally recruited by a retired OT from our Lebanon office — and we are so glad she listened! 😊 She is new to the Suburban family, but we have a feeling she is going to fit right in.

Say hello to Lindsey, one of our amazing OTs here at Suburban Home Health! 💙
A little about her:

Lindsey and her husband call Broad Ripple home and love everything about it! You can catch them walking their goldendoodle Riley on the Monon Trail or exploring the latest restaurants Indianapolis has to offer. 🐾🍽️ When she's not in OT mode, Lindsey has a passion for international travel and even runs her own interior decorating business! ✈️🏡

Her OT journey:
Lindsey has been an OT for nearly 10 years, and her passion for the field runs deep. Growing up with a sister with autism and watching her grandmother navigate Alzheimer's ignited a desire in her to help uniquely and differently abled individuals thrive.

Why Suburban Home Health?
Lindsey actually worked at Suburban full time before stepping away to gain experience in other settings — but she came back, and for good reason! The memories she made here brought her back through the door, and the staff retention speaks for itself. In nearly 10 years as an OT, she says Suburban has the lowest staff turnover she has ever seen. That says it all! 🙌

A little about her:

Gigi is a proud mom of two adult kids (one turning 30 — where does the time go?! 🎉) and the lucky human of Harvey, an adorable Bernedoodle who keeps her on her toes — literally! Between the zoomies and the occasional tumble, life with Harvey is never boring. 🐾😄

She loves spring and fall for the colors, the birds migrating, and watching mama birds care for their babies. 🌸🍂🐦

Her OT journey:
Gigi has been an Occupational Therapist for nearly 30 years! She fell into OT and never looked back. Her heart is with the senior population, and she is passionate about making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

Tammy brings over 35 years of experience across the healthcare continuum — including Acute Care, Emergency Services, and Hospice — and we couldn't be more excited to have her leading the way. A collaborative leader at heart, she works closely with interdisciplinary teams and brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, life safety, and emergency preparedness.

Tammy is passionate about building strong partnerships, investing in her staff, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence — values that align perfectly with the mission we live every day at Suburban Hospice.
