🚨 North Carolina Medicaid Update 🚨

The NC General Assembly has adjourned September’s budget talks without a resolution, leaving key decisions—including funding for RB-BHT services—on hold until lawmakers return on October 21.

✅ The intent and funding for Medicaid are clearly outlined in legislation passed this week.

❌ There is no justification for rate cuts to be implemented now.
We’re calling on Governor Stein to direct NC DHHS to delay the rate cuts scheduled for October 1 until the budget reconciliation process is complete.

📣 Use the updated CASP campaign to contact the Governor’s office. Our goal: OVER 500 messages to show how critical this is for the families we serve.

LAC-Goshen has started monthly awards for staff, where the RBTs send nominations to the CD for who they believe embodies the LAC Value of the Month. They can nominate a fellow RBT, a RBTTC, a Clinical Administrator, a Program Manager, or anyone in any position within the center! This month's winner was Grace for the value of “Be Compassionate. Care About People More Than Anything.” Her kind demeanor, calm approach, & fun-loving spirit are apparent in all of her sessions with learners!!

We celebrated Avery's one year on Monday, Sept. 15th 🎉🎉

Avery is such a beautiful person inside and out and we are so lucky to have her on our team! We look forward to watching Avery continue to grow as an RBT this next year.
