Over the last few months, we have been highlighting a vertebra every week to talk about what a misalignment in that area of the spine may impact or cause.

We have finally made it all the way down the spine to the last vertebra, the coccyx, or S2.

The coccyx revolves around your backside. Just come in and get adjusted so we don't have to talk about it 😆 .

We are now out of the lumbar spine, and all the way down to the sacrum for the vertebra of the week!

The sacrum, or S1, sits between the hip bones. If the sacrum is shifted to the left, right, or even back in the pelvic cavity, we can see problems with the hips being out of alignment. This misalignment may cause the spine to curve, causing tightness in the back and pain in the legs.

Only one more vertebra to go in our "vertebra of the week" series!

On Friday, Dr. Mitch had the opportunity to travel to Iowa and talk with chiropractic students!

He presented on how to build a high-impact family-based chiropractic practice through nervous system-based care, along with pediatric and prenatal care insights.

The future looks bright for these students and the communities they will serve some day!

We are participating in Secret Families of Hamilton County again this Christmas!

What does this mean? We will deliver a decorated tree, presents, personal care items, a gift card, and a Bible to dozens of families in need!

How can you help? By making an in-kind donation! We are looking for personal care items such paper towels, toilet paper, household cleaner, soap, deodorant, detergent, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

The 5th, and last, lumbar spine vertebra can directly impact the legs and feet. A misalignment in this area could cause circulation issues, swelling, coldness, weakness, and cramping in the lower extremities.

Attention women: are you dealing with menstrual problems such as painful or irregular periods? A misalignment of the L3 vertebra could be putting pressure on the nerves that impact the uterus, causing your symptoms.
