I have recently joined a networking group that has really got my working energy going! Our guest speaker was our group leader's brother. Besides being funny - he is very successful and wasn't afraid to share how he got there,

Listening to him, it became clear that I have been coasting. Coasting is bad! How do all my fb followers know what I know if I don't keep you up to date?!

So, here's what' going on in the world of Admin Assistant On Demand:
Joined new networking team;
Joined Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association;
Getting more offers for continuous work;
Heard from a BNI friend with a tax-season opportunity;
Working on amending a law that was passed in May 2019.

Tip of the Week: How many are proud of your heritage and name? I would imagine all of you are - as you should be! So, when someone mispronounces your name, you help them. Same with misspelling their name. The first time it's an honest mistake. The second time, it's being careless. But the third time? That is being rude and disrespectful. You have now set the tone for that person to not believe or trust what you are saying or offering. This holds true in business and personal relationships.

It’s interesting to reflect on my business of 3 years. Most folks, I have discovered, think my business is ‘nice’ and a ‘nice hobby.’

My business is a 1099 - independent contractor - not a hobby. I’ve fine tuned my business to make it user friendly for small businesses and organizations to help those who are not in a position to hire administrative support or simply need a one off additional office support.

Therefore, if your business or you know of a business that would benefit from my administrative expertise, I would greatly appreciate your sending them my way!

I’ve reached out to my friends at BNI, now I’m reaching out to ALL small businesses!

I have a client who wants to do more for owners, CEOs, and employees by giving a short 10-minute talk about core wellness!

You’re probably saying ‘I sit all day. How can that possibly hurt my core?’ Sitting in the same position, not taking a break and moving around, etc., that’s how just sitting can harm you.

Car service crews - twisting and lifting, if not done properly can cause discomfort and potential time loss from work.

Salons - hair stylists standing all day. Spa techs sitting all day doing mani/pedis. Those wonderful massage techs while taking care of others forget to take care of themselves.

The list could go on but no doubt you get the picture. So I’m asking you to take a look around your work place and consider giving back to your company by giving 10 minutes of you and your company’s time.

And for doing so, my client. A Wellness Advisor, will provide a lite breakfast or lunch as a Thank You!

Hello My Friends! A lot has been going on, both personal and professionally!

Professionally, I am waiting with the rest of the crew to hear from the Indiana Governor for a special Bill signing that I am proud to have been a part of! Indiana is having the FIRST fertility bill (SB174) put on the books, We worked over two years to make this happen. My part? I helped write their motion when they went to court along with coordinating, researching and writing documents as we moved forward.

Additionally, working with a great guy to clean up his QuickBooks account. My tip? If you don't understand what you're doing or how to do it - ASK! Poor guy hired someone that messed his account up. Thankfully, he asked me to fix it! I'm such a Wonder Woman!

I'm also working with a wonderful doctor to schedule Wellness Listen & Learn! Just 10 minutes is all he needs! And for that 10 minutes you will learn about the importance of good body movement health and good eating! The good doctor will provide a light breakfast or lunch for giving him your 10 minutes! Amazing! Feel free to get in contact with me to learn more!

And these are my big projects. So, you can see why you haven't heard from me for awhile! But, I promise to be there for you!

The journey continues for Senate Bill 174 - Fertility Fraud. The House Judiciary Committee has sent the Bill to the House Floor! It could be voted on as early as tomorrow! Feels so good to have such an amazing client who showed strength and courage to pursue and protect future families from the wrong a “doctor “ did. Also very proud my client trusted in me to help put everything together!

My very first client - whom I hadn’t heard from for awhile, got in touch with me.
Seems she’s had a very good reason for being out of touch. She fell down her stairs at home and has been in the hospital!
Happy to share we are back working together! She has trusted me with the huge assignment of preparing her for her time in front of the Indiana House Judiciary Committee!

I started my business venture in February 2017. I found that there were numerous small businesses and organizations that needed administrative support but not on a full time basis. Their needs were either temporary or by project. That’s where I come in! I lend my skills and support on an as needed basis!
