In the summer of 2025, a quiet prayer took root in Anastasiia Krumen’s heart: a desire to serve others while finding a way to provide for her own needs. It was a simple, honest hope to live a life that truly made a difference.
As the busyness of life took over, that thought faded into the background—but God was already moving.
By September, Anastasiia stepped through the doors of Mission to Ukraine to begin volunteering. By October, her entire perspective had shifted. What she once thought of as "work" had transformed into a deep, heart-led ministry. The warm smiles of the children and the open hearts of the parents turned a job into a calling.
As Paul Tripp once said: "Let’s tear up and throw away our list of expectations: what God has prepared for us is far better than all our dreams and plans." We are so grateful for team members like Anastasiia who see their roles not just as tasks, but as a mission to reflect Christ's love.
How you can join us:
Pray: Lift up Anastasiia and our entire team, that they would be continually strengthened and inspired by the families they serve.
