At Mission to Ukraine, we believe that every member of our team is placed here by a divine calling. Alina Marchuk, a nurse on our medical team, recently shared her powerful journey of seeking God’s guidance when her previous job became difficult to balance with her ministry. After much prayer, the opportunity to join MTU was presented to her twice by different people. Despite having the professional background required, Alina initially struggled with doubts and the fear of whether she was truly suitable for such a vital role.

To seek clarity, Alina began her journey with the Mission as a volunteer, coming to our center every day after finishing her regular job. During those two months, she discovered that Mission to Ukraine is not just a workplace, but a ministry where people are served with the heart of Christ. By the time her volunteer period ended, her fears had been replaced by a deep confidence in God’s plan. Today, Alina serves as a nurse on our team, dedicated to being a faithful instrument in God’s hands. We are so grateful for her humility, wisdom, and the professional care she provides to our families.

At the MTU center we recently dispatched much needed medicine to mothers throughout Ukraine. This practical expression of the compassionate love of Christ ensures that families have the resources they need during these difficult times. We are honored to serve as a lifeline for these mothers and to share the hope of Jesus through every delivery. Mission to Ukraine remains committed to providing essential care and holistic support to those who need it most.

During an air raid alert in Ukraine our team immediately moved the children to the safety of the shelter. In the midst of missile launches our specialists worked tirelessly to keep the children engaged and entertained to ease their fears. This is the compassionate love of Christ in action providing a sanctuary of peace and joy even in the face of danger. Mission to Ukraine remains dedicated to protecting and comforting these precious lives no matter what challenges the day brings.

Through our disability services in Ukraine we aim to reflect the compassionate love of Christ in every interaction. Today Sofiia shared the biblical story of Noah with Uliana while teaching her how to model a rainbow. These moments of connection and faith remind us that every child is a masterpiece created by God. Even in the midst of war we continue to provide holistic support and spiritual nourishment to families across Ukraine.

Four years ago today, the world watched as a full-scale attack was launched on Ukraine. Since then, we have seen 1,460 days of incredible sacrifice and resilience. At Mission to Ukraine, we invite you to pause and join us in prayer as we mark this heavy anniversary.

We pray for the families torn apart, for the brave souls on the front lines, and for every heart weary from the weight of this conflict. Most of all, we ask you to join us in praying for an end to this war. Your prayers and your solidarity mean more than ever.

When Natalia reached out to Mission to Ukraine she was facing an impossible choice in the midst of a national crisis. Through the compassionate love of Christ and the dedicated support of our consultant Tanya she found the strength to save her baby. We are honored to provide the life affirming care that reminds every mother in Ukraine she is never alone. Natalia shares her heartfelt gratitude for the help provided and we invite you to stand with us in this mission of hope.

At Mission to Ukraine, we often see a beautiful cycle of healing where those who receive support eventually become the ones providing it. Masha first came to the MTU rehabilitation center two years ago seeking help for her daughter, Emilia, who lives with autism. At the time, Emilia struggled with severe attachment and communication challenges. Through our rehabilitation courses and the Next to You program, Masha watched as her daughter made incredible leaps in development and independence.

Moved by the care her daughter received, Masha began to volunteer her own time in our preschool groups. Her unique perspective as a mother of a child with special needs allowed her to build immediate trust and deep connections with other parents facing similar journeys. When Emilia was finally ready to transition to a traditional kindergarten, Masha realized her heart belonged with the children and families at Mission to Ukraine. Today, Masha has served as a staff assistant in our preschool group for eight months. Her story is a powerful reminder of how God’s grace transforms families and builds a community of mutual support. We are so blessed to have Masha on our team, encouraging other mothers by her own example of hope.

"Love never fails." — 1 Corinthians 13:8 🕊

We were blessed to host Zhanna, a mother of 12 foster children, three with disabilities, who shared how the compassionate love of Christ combined with professional care can reach children the world has given up on.

Parents left moved, realizing that even their most challenging moments are gifts from God. Thank you for helping Mission to Ukraine empower families to lead with the heart of Jesus.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28

Today at Mission to Ukraine, we are wrapping mothers in crisis pregnancies in the warmth and compassionate love of Christ. These hats are a small but powerful reminder that they are not alone. Thank you for helping us provide comfort and hope to these brave women as they prepare to welcome new life.

In the midst of chaos, we find peace in the strokes of a paintbrush.

Our weekly Drawing Club at Mission to Ukraine is more than an art class, it’s a sanctuary. Here, children find a safe space to express their hearts and experience the gentle, restorative love of Christ. Through your support, we are helping these little ones process their world through color and creativity.

While in Ukraine, we met Nadiia, a mother of six doing the impossible. With her husband at the front lines, she works tirelessly to provide for her little ones, including her 1-year-old.

We are moving in the compassionate love of Christ to provide the humanitarian and psychological relief she desperately needs. Your support is the hands and feet of Jesus for families like hers.
