Tee off for a cause! ⛳🏌️

Join us on Wednesday, June 18, for our annual Heartfelt Thanks Golf Tournament! This outing is one of the many ways the Riverview Health Foundation raises money to support programs and projects for the patients at Riverview Health.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. A boxed lunch will be provided prior to the start and a tailgate-style dinner will follow the tournament.

We're proud to announce the opening of our newly expanded acute rehabilitation unit at the Riverview Health Noblesville hospital!

With state-of-the-art facilities and advanced equipment, this marks the completion of phase one of a two-phase project, increasing the unit's capacity to 24 beds.

The unit has been named “The Mindrebo Family Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit” in recognition of the significant contribution from Dr. Norman and Peggy Mindrebo. Dr. Mindrebo is a respected orthopedic surgeon at Riverview Health Physicians Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, May 16, 2025, with the City of Noblesville, Ind. Mayor Chris Jensen in attendance, demonstrating the city's support for this vital healthcare advancement. The unit will begin welcoming patients on May 29, 2025.

Please join us in congratulating Teresa, Manager of School Nurses, as she is this year's recipient of the Walczak Family Nursing Scholarship! 👏

Cecelia Walczak and Tara Walczak-Daege started the Walczak Family Nursing Scholarship at Riverview Health in 2010 to honor Michael Walczak following his battle with cancer. Teresa was selected by the Walczak family because her application focused on providing school nurses the opportunity to attend the Indiana Association of School Nurses conference this fall. Mr. Walczak was passionate about continuing education, especially for nurses, and the family believed Teresa's dedication to supporting her team members was a great way to carry on his legacy.

At last week's Women of Vision Luncheon, we heard from two inspiring speakers – Jennifer Wiese and Dr. Bridget Hurry – who shared their journeys of caring for others as well as their families while breaking down barriers along the way.

Jennifer shared about the inception and growth of her business, BeeFree Gluten Free. What started in her home kitchen alongside her mom can now be found in Costco stores nationwide. Dr. Hurry shared her story of opening a medical and dental clinic in the savannahs of Africa, while simultaneously teaching and training others to care for their community. Through heartfelt passion and community fundraising, she eventually opened a full-scale hospital, ultimately removing the barrier to healthcare access.
