⚕️⛑️What we bring to emergencies. Whenever we interview people, they always ask us about emergencies, how often they happen and what we do for them. We are trained in basic life support as well as (NRP)neonatal resuscitation. I usually tell people that we bring the birth center to you!! 💪✔️Our cars are loaded with all the things that we would need, including items for suturing/ repair as well as resuscitation of mom and or baby. We carry oxygen, IV fluids, meds for hemorrhage, as well as life-saving resuscitation equipment. 🙏🏻Honestly, we rarely have to use any of it, but we are always prepared. 😎This is just a little example of my rescue cradle. This and my Midwife bag are the first things that I bring in with me to every Birth just in case the Birth is precipitous/happening fast and if this was all I had in my hands, I would have all I needed

❄️I don’t know if you know this, but Midwives do not stop even for rain, sleet, snow or torrential pour downs. ⛄️ If you call, we are coming. With four-wheel-drive and grit, we will come to you🤍👶🏻Anytime there is a massive thunderstorm or ice storm or snowstorm, we get all kinds of questions as to how we will get there. All three of us Midwives have cars that have made it through some pretty bad weather, and rest assured we will come! Just give us an extra heads up to allow for drive time ❤️🌨️ -wheel-drive

I am an a Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed, serving the greater Nashville area and have been a Registered Nurse for 14 years.

My goal is serve you with the faith I have in birth, to connect with you & build trust about the birthing process, as well as to empower you with evidence based knowledge. Birth is biological and safe. I have every confidence in you and your God-given ability to birth.
I am serving families wanting to birth in the home setting, whether water birth or on ‘land’.
I have been serving birthing folks since 2009 and know that this my calling. I’ve attended over 150 births and am trained in NRP as well as CPR/BLS. I have been apprentice-trained through the PEP process, through the North American Registry of Midwives, and finished my training in December 2019.

My services Midwifery services include:
A free, 1 hour, consultation interview (I encourage you to interview more than one midwife, to find the best fit for you and your spouse, or partner)
Initial Visit + 11-15 prenatal visits, education on nutrition, exercise, emotional state etc., as well as birthing methods in preparation and for your birth.
Phone, text and email support throughout pregnancy within business hours.
Emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.
Postpartum & Breastfeeding support (list of lactation specialists to help) *pricing will vary*
Immediately following birth, a postpartum newborn exam, then newborn screening with CCHD at approximately 24 hours, birth certificate and SSN card submission, as well as 3 day follow up, 1 week (if you are not seeing a pediatrician, 3 week follow up if needed, and six week postpartum appointment.
Back-up midwife support if I'm called to another birth, death injury or illness, or for a prolonged birthing time
Child birth education & newborn normal education if you haven't had any, as well a materials and resources for lactation support
On Call for you 24/7 from 37 weeks.
If you are not wanting to birth at home, but want a skilled advocate by your side in the hospital, I also provide DOULA/MONTRICE SERVICES. These services are listed below.
-On Call from 37 weeks
-Will Attend 2-3 Prenatal Visits, including one with your provider if you desire as well as birth plan meeting.
-Available through email and text throughout pregnancy within reasonable hours 8am-9 pm
-Will bring chocolate and discuss your pregnancy and birth plan and how I can best serve. ----Will stay up to 2 hours after birth for breastfeeding help/recovery.
-Can do BP, Fetal Heart Tones, Cervical Checks at home before heading to the hospital as a montrice. Once at the hospital all medical procedures will cease and I will act as your doula/advocate only.
-Postpartum follow up at your convenience and birth record if you desire.
