🎂In the early hours of the morning we welcomed a sweet little 8 lb 9 oz. baby girl! 👧🏻 We witnessed such strength and beauty as her mom dug deep within herself, to do something she thought she could not do, in the moment. 🫶🏠Birth is wild and amazing! 👋 Hi Everyone! 🔦We are looking for an Admin Coordinator to start Part-Time (15-20hrs) at Wild Fig as soon as possible!!Both of the gals we had working with us had some life changes come up😢………🔦This is an IN office position with some flex for home hours. Total hours for the week approx 20 hours with 9 to 12 of those hours being at the office itself(Nolensville,TN), M-W-F. We are a small 🏡 homebirth practice that delivers a little over 50 patients per year. You would be the voice and communicator for our Wild Fig practice. 🤰🏻There once was a mom who really wanted a VBAC!!! And….
Today was her day !!!! Woooooohoooo!!
Happy VBAC and Happy Birthday baby A!!🤍🎉🥰🎈🎊💕💯🎂 When I say this mama did everything that you could do to prepare for Birth, I mean she did everything! This mom chose a Birth team that fit her desires for wanting to have a vaginal birth after cesarean. She had chiropractic care, she went to pelvic floor therapy, she got craniosacral therapy / massage. 🏃🏻‍♀️She exercised, 🥗she ate well, she took care of her😘emotionally, did all the stretching and took the courses and hired a 🌼doula. ☀️It brings us such joy to witness such determination and strength!!! 💪Here’s to another fierce and strong mama doing it her way!! Oh, and our Midwife student, got another catch under her belt!! 💜Yay!!!

Totally forgot to post this last week. We had the privilege of welcoming another sweet Wildfig baby last week. Nothing like seeing a second time mom be in shock that her active labor was on 2.5 hour long! Well sweet “M”….we love all 7 lbs. 10 oz. of you! And-I know your big brother is as smitten as we are🥰❤️👶🏻🎉🕊️💕

Hi! I'm Maggie Leo!! I am an a Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed, serving the greater Nashville area and have been a Registered Nurse for 14 years. Thank you for stopping by my page! My goal is serve you with the faith I have in birth, to connect with you & build trust about the birthing process, as well as to empower you with evidence based knowledge. Birth is biological and safe. I have every confidence in you and your God-given ability to birth.

I am serving families wanting to birth in the home setting, whether water birth or on ‘land’. I have been serving birthing folks since 2009 and know that this my calling. I’ve attended over 150 births and am trained in NRP as well as CPR/BLS. I have been apprentice-trained through the PEP process, through the North American Registry of Midwives, and finished my training in December 2019.

I look forward to bringing Wild Fig Birth to life, by serving you and helping you achieve the birth you desire. Call me or fill out your contact info on my website and we will meet and see if were are good fit for each other.

My services Midwifery services include:

A free, 1 hour, consultation interview (I encourage you to interview more than one midwife, to find the best fit for you and your spouse, or partner)

Initial Visit + 11-15 prenatal visits, education on nutrition, exercise, emotional state etc., as well as birthing methods in preparation and for your birth.

Phone, text and email support throughout pregnancy within business hours.

Emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.

Postpartum & Breastfeeding support (list of lactation specialists to help) *pricing will vary*

Immediately following birth, a postpartum newborn exam, then newborn screening with CCHD at approximately 24 hours, birth certificate and SSN card submission, as well as 3 day follow up, 1 week (if you are not seeing a pediatrician, 3 week follow up if needed, and six week postpartum appointment.

Back-up midwife support if I'm called to another birth, death injury or illness, or for a prolonged birthing time

Child birth education & newborn normal education if you haven't had any, as well a materials and resources for lactation support

On Call for you 24/7 from 37 weeks.

If you are not wanting to birth at home, but want a skilled advocate by your side in the hospital, I also provide DOULA/MONTRICE SERVICES. These services are listed below. -On Call from 37 weeks -Will Attend 2-3 Prenatal Visits, including one with your provider if you desire as well as birth plan meeting. -Available through email and text throughout pregnancy within reasonable hours 8am-9 pm -Will bring chocolate and discuss your pregnancy and birth plan and how I can best serve. ----Will stay up to 2 hours after birth for breastfeeding help/recovery. -Can do BP, Fetal Heart Tones, Cervical Checks at home before heading to the hospital as a montrice. Once at the hospital all medical procedures will cease and I will act as your doula/advocate only.

-Postpartum follow up at your convenience and birth record if you desire.
