Do you sense your ankle hasn’t felt the same since you sprained it? 🤔

After an ankle sprain, some cases progress to chronic ankle instability.

One essential goal of ankle rehab is to restore range of motion and strength before it progresses to a chronic issue.

But there's good news for those who develop chronic problems. Strengthening and balance exercises can still help restore ankle function, even in patients with chronic instability. 🙌

Pain on the bottom of your heel with the first few steps in the morning? 🦶

This is a common symptom of plantar fasciitis.

While it may feel that the plantar fascia is tight and needs to be loosened, recent research has actually found that it is less stiff in those with plantar fasciitis!

This is why it is important to implement the correct stability program to return the fascia back to its normal stiffness!

We treat plantar fasciitis at our office! Check out this infographic for more information. 👍 https://bit.ly/46EjX6w

While concussions typically involve trauma to the brain, they can also strain the surrounding muscles in the neck and shoulder region.

Chiropractors can play a valuable role in the treatment team, helping manage both the concussion itself and associated musculoskeletal pain. 🙌

Increased pain in the lower back? 👎

Pressing on the muscles in the lower back shouldn’t usually cause pain or discomfort. However, those experiencing lower back pain are more sensitive to pressure.

Chiropractic adjustments help reduce this increased sensitivity to pressure, which is one reason they are useful for those with low back pain.
