💔 It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Louis Boynton, PhD, LPC, CPCS.

Dr. Boynton was a cherished member of the LPCA Board, whose wisdom, dedication, and unwavering kindness deeply touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His impact on our organization—and the counseling community at large—is both lasting and profound.

Dr. Larry Schor shared that “Louie” would be honored if we took a moment to reflect and share memories of kindness in tribute to his remarkable life and legacy.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his beloved daughter, grandchildren, and entire family during this incredibly difficult time. He will be missed beyond words.

Hello Everyone!
As part of our "Welcome to the Board" series, we’re excited to introduce the outstanding leaders who are here to serve and support on behalf of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia Board of Directors.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting both new and returning board members who are passionate about promoting mental health and advancing our field.

On behalf of LPCA-GA, we warmly welcome:
✨ "Will" Carroll, LPCA-GA Ethics Chair
📌 Dr. Will Carroll is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University. Based in Marietta since 2012, he specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, including innovative methods like Lego Therapy. Outside the office, he enjoys running and kayaking in North Georgia.
