Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris, who have become our go-to veteran liaisons, spent the weekend at the American Legion Convention, hosted by the The American Legion, Department of Florida in Tampa and co-sponsored by Neptune Society.
They met with veterans and their families, and raffled off an iPad. The lucky winner was Jennifer Farmer, Kentucky District 2 President. Congratulations, Jennifer!

Our Neptune Society team just celebrated the first birthday of their pup, Neptune, who has quickly developed a compassionate understanding of how to be there for people in mourning. Neptune Atlanta Service Manager Mark Musselwhite supported local assisted living facility Oaks at Alpharetta with their first senior health fair. He got to know the Oaks staff and other vendors and attendees, and presented one lucky resident with a birdhouse that was raffled off.

Neptune Atlanta Service Manager Mark Musselwhite and Sales Manager James Cordell teamed up to support case managers and social workers through an annual sponsorship of CEU Creations’ holiday celebration at senior living facility Corso Atlanta. Neptune has sponsored this event for many years with CEU Creations, which provides engaging, affordable continuing education training for social workers, counselors, case managers, and nurses.

Neptune Atlanta has hosted tables and booths with giveaways and gifts at event locations throughout the year as well. “With many social workers and case managers in attendance, our tables were a big hit!” Mark said.

Service Manager Mark Musselwhite and the Neptune Atlanta team attend and support Civitan International through their annual golf event at a local Del Webb community. No trophies were won this year, but it was a perfect sunny day to play golf, network with others in the community, and raise funds for a worthy cause. Civitan has a special emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities. This particular event funds scholarships to Stepping Stones Educational Center for children and their families needing special care, including high quality preschool and an academy for students 14 and younger. Other scholarship opportunities are available for young adults with special needs to attend the Technical College System of Georgia’s program for Special Populations and Disability Services Life Skills Workshops, with the ultimate goal of preparing them to work and live independently.
