Apollo First Aid was founded by Gary Kreps and Artie White. Both Partners have an extensive knowledge in Industrial Safety. Gary Kreps is a former Paramedic-Fire Fighter for Gwinnett County has over 20 years’ experience in the First Aid and Safety Industry as owner of both MedSafety & Medical and Safety Solutions, Inc., which merged with two publicly traded National First Aid Providers. Artie’s family business Rite-Hite is the world leader in the manufacture and sale of loading dock equipment, industrial doors, safety barriers and high-volume, low-speed industrial fans – all designed to improve safety, productivity, and energy consumption. Employers are taking a proactive approach by having first aid kits, AED's, and staff trained in CPR and First Aid. We also overlap our Route Sales Division to not only restock and maintain first aid supplies but, also bathroom products such as center pull towels, toilet paper, and air fresheners. OSHA Regulation CFR 1910.15 (b) states:
"In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available." OSHA refers to the ANSI standard Z308.1-2009 as an example of minimal contents for first aid supplies.
